HBW's Mercury-facing services on this site are deliberately specific:
- Mercury repower and motor selection: build a current CAD configuration in the Mercury quote builder. The final installed scope depends on the exact engine, controls, steering, propeller, removal, rigging, boat condition, HST, and approved work.
- Engine repair: the current service intake limits engine repairs to Mercury and MerCruiser. Submit the serial number and symptoms at hbwservice.ca.
- Outdoor winter storage: HBW offers outdoor storage with professional shrink wrap, outdoor uncovered storage, and shrink-wrap-only service. We do not offer indoor or heated boat storage. We also do not offer climate-controlled, summer, or year-round storage. See the current HBW 2026–27 rate card.
- Spring commissioning: it is included for HBW winter-storage customers. As of September 2026, it is $99 for non-storage customers. Confirm the current scope when booking.

What "Full Service" Does Not Promise
"Full service" describes the range of marina functions available at one location. It is not a promise that every item is bundled, every part is in stock, every repair is same-day, or every boat will be ready for an assumed launch date.
For service, storage, or repower work:
- Complete the service request at hbwservice.ca with the boat, engine, trailer, and requested-work details.
- Drop off your boat anytime, including after hours. You do not need a confirmed drop-off window.
- HBW reviews the requested scope and confirms the work plan and schedule.
- Review the written quote, inclusions, exclusions, and approvals before work proceeds.
- Authorize any newly discovered work before it proceeds.
- Plan pickup only after HBW confirms the approved work is complete.
A completed job must be judged against the written work order. Do not rely on a general package label or an informal "ready-to-run" assumption.
Mercury Service Fit
HBW may be a practical fit when:
- The engine repair is for Mercury or MerCruiser
- You need a Mercury repower quote based on the boat's capacity plate, transom, controls, steering, and intended use
- You can bring the boat to Gores Landing and return for pickup
- You are comfortable approving the exact parts and labour scope before work
- Outdoor winter storage suits the boat and your insurance requirements
HBW is not the right fit when:
- You need engine repair for another brand
- You need boat delivery, motor shipping, mobile service, or a transport referral
- You need indoor, heated, climate-controlled, summer, or year-round storage
- You need access to the boat between December 1 and April 1
- You need a guaranteed turnaround before HBW has inspected and accepted the job
From the Shop: Prepare Before Towing
Travel time depends on the starting point, traffic, weather, road work, and whether you are towing. Use current navigation for the actual day instead of an old drive-time table.
Before leaving:
- Complete the service request at hbwservice.ca; drop off anytime, including after hours
- Check the trailer tires, bearings, lights, coupler, safety chains, winch strap, and tie-downs
- Confirm the tow vehicle's ratings and the boat's travel height
- Bring the engine serial number, keys, wheel-lock key, and any requested documentation
- Remove personal items that are not part of the approved work
- Do not plan a return launch until HBW confirms pickup
